While this book, in my opinion, seems to be written from an atheist perspective, its central precept is consistent with The God Paradigm, in that life and consciousness (and free will, I add) do not arise from the physical universe -- they are its foundation and (I add) its purpose.

When their book is published, I look forward to reading it.
